  4.         The main menu contains three main options, and several
  5.         hidden ones (more on them in a minute).
  6.  
  7.         The three main options, which are accessed by simply
  8.         clicking on the appropriate icon, are as follows ....

  11.         FIXTURES
  12.         Before Pro-Football can begin to predict anything, you
  13.         need to tell it exactly what matches are being played.
  14.         You do this by creating one or more fixture lists, which
  15.         are very similar in appearance to the fixed odds betting
  16.         coupons or pools coupons. At the beginning of a new week,
  17.         this will normally be your first action.

  19.         PREDICT
  20.         Once you have created your fixture lists, you can then set
  21.         Pro-Football to work.

  23.         RESULTS
  24.         Obviously, Pro-Football can't possibly predict anything
  25.         unless it knows what's been going on form-wise.
  26.         When you have the results for a set of matches, it's time
  27.         to enter Results mode and tell Pro-Football about them.

  30.         These options will be covered more in-depth in the relevant
  31.         help pages when you come to them.

  33.         As previously mentioned, there are also some hidden options.
  34.         These are features that won't be used quite so often, and
  35.         only clutter up the main menu the rest of the time.

  37.         To access them, just hold down the right mouse button, and
  38.         highlight the required option (same effect as holding down
  39.         the right mouse button on Workbench).

  44.         USER-GUIDE
  45.         Basically, an introductory help page that explains the bits
  46.         of Pro-Football that don't fall into any other category.
  47.         It is ESSENTIAL that you read this before starting to make
  48.         predictions (if you haven't already done so, then you should
  49.         have a look at it when you've finished reading this).

  52.         Just some information about the version of Pro-Football that
  53.         you are using.

  55.         QUIT - Self explanatory really!

  57.         LEAGUE EDITOR
  58.         Pro-Football can be used all year round with both UK and
  59.         Australian football. The league editor allows you to
  60.         change the team and/or league names as required.

  62.         RESET LEAGUES
  63.         This option should be used with EXTREME caution. It will
  64.         reset the internal league tables! Two levels of re-setting
  65.         are available. ALL deletes everything (including team and
  66.         league names), whereas SOME only deletes the league table
  67.         data (goals scored, points etc).

  69.         RANDOM X's
  70.         Occasionally, there won't be all that many matches likely
  71.         to result in a draw. This may leave you a little short for
  72.         pools purposes, so the random feature simply generates 20
  73.         random numbers between 1 and 58. You may want to use this
  74.         in addition to the predictions!

  76.         RETURNS CALCULATOR
  77.         The majority of non-pools football bets for simply
  78.         predicting the outcome of a match (1,2,X) are just
  79.         straight-forward accumulators. Whilst not particularly
  80.         complicated, they can be a hassle to work out, especially
  81.         as one of the major bookies includes a 10-fold bet on their
  82.         coupons. The returns calculator allows you to work out
  83.         those bets with the minimum of fuss.
